| Abstract |
Electrons offer great potential for the time-resolved measurement of atomic motion. The SLAC ultrafast electron diffraction experiment, based at ASTA, offered new possibilities for the measurement of lattice dynamics at sub picosecond timescales. Here we details of this new experiment and the first results: a time-resolved study of the lattice dynamics in bismuth. |
